Training Level 3 Day Event Test

Welcome to South Farms Training Level 3 Day Educational Event Test.  A few years ago we decided to dabble our hoofs into the waters of the CCI half star, and with a ton of help from some great friends we were able to do it. My dear husband built a first rate steeple chase course, that is about a third of a mile, and added some new fences to the training course.  Katie Evans an advanced rider from Canada, and a terrific friend, organized a number of lectures. Jerry Goldberg, our farm owner and parking attendant, got sponsors like Cosequin, Maui Jim, Schneiders Saddlery, and  The Paddock.  Before we knew it we were off and running.

Then 2005 came, and the stork brought us a little present. What with the due date being within weeks of the Horse Trial Date, we decided to put the show on hold for a year.  But we’re back. This year we have some fabulous coaches lined up, excellent judges, and some exciting new cross country questions from our wonderful course designer Ritch Temple.
