Mini Event

South Farm Mini Events

The purpose of the Mini Event is to facilitate the educational experience for both horse and rider in the sport of eventing.  Although the South Farm Mini Event is not sanctioned by USEA or USA Equestrian, the horse trial will be run in accordance with USEA rules. The Mini Event is designed so that if riders are competing at the level of their true ability, they should have a positive experience. One of the features that make the mini event very different from a recognized horse trial is the ability to school the cross-country course the day before the horse trial.  Riders are still urged to walk their course and then ride, accompanied with a suitable ground person.
